Hi.

It beats me how many of you are reading this, but I figure I owe an explanation to the gods of cyberspace at the very least.

To begin, I apologize for my update patterns for being so sporadic. I had a plan, you see. Update Janie's Journals during winter break as much as possible, and then once every two weeks, after game. It's been... *checks* longer than two weeks. More like holdonasec, just two and a half?

Okay, so I don't owe an explanation to the gods of cyberspace. But I've already started, so I'll continue.

Part of the reason that writing has gone to a standstill was called "The Narration of a Very Rosy Death." The script is one of my deviations. This past Thursday (a week ago), the curtain rose on the actual performance, directed by yours truly.

If you've ever done anything theater-related, you can now see why I haven't written anything lately.

Another part of the reason is known as FINALS OF DEATH. Which happen today and tomorrow. Weeee!

A cop-out part of the reason is that I've run against one of the biggest challenges in writing for Garou: other people's characters. This is especially true for Janie's den parent: Talking Crazy. The next Janie's Journal is filled to the brim with TC dialog and stories. Laura is near-terrified to write for him, mostly because of the unavoidable sadness that will happen when she gets everything wrong. She also can't get Snow right, which is doubly mortifying because Maria will read the journals...

The last facet of this jewel-of-excuses comes from a personal tenant: Be there when those you love are going through rough times. Well, I won't go into details, but there have been rough times aplenty goin' around and damned if I won't be there.

HOWEVER. If I ever want to get any good at this writing thing, I have to, well, write. So I will.

Logic.
